Having been involved in the original decision to implement SOS at Eversheds and integrate it with bespoke workflow software I was particularly interested to ready the latest press release from SOS:

 

Eversheds  is upgrading to the latest version of SOS practice management software from Solicitors Own Software and subscribing to the SOS web development portal for extended in-house customisation of the application.

The SOS web development portal provides Eversheds with access to the full SOS development environment as used by SOS itself, including software tools, the SOS Connect web services technology and SOS’s intellectual property.

Eversheds Legal Services Group, based in Cardiff has been an SOS customer for over 10 years. Most of the billing for this Group, which involves generating 7000 invoices and posting 60,000 transactions per month, is handled by SOS software operated by a team of 20.

According to Paul Fisher, Business Transformation Manager at Eversheds: “SOS has proved extremely reliable and robust over many years and we are delighted with the return on investment delivered. By moving to the latest version and providing our IT team with real-time access to the SOS development environment we can swiftly deliver tailored screens and functionality and carry out our own database developments. The result is an even greater return on investment. In addition we are taking advantage of the SOS automated bank reconciliation feature to deliver even more value.”

David McNamara, managing director of SOS said: “We are delighted that Eversheds has furthered its commitment to SOS and look forward to delivering another ten years’ of reliable and efficient computing and customer service.”
